Could Poland Stop the Russian Invasion of Eastern Europe

The state of Belarus August 2023, and its military helicopters breached Polish airspace, which could potentially lead to an increase in hostilities between Poland, a member of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) and Belarus, which is a vassal state of the Russian Federation.

If these two states attack one another or invade their respective territories, it could lead to a greater European war between NATO members and Russia.

Reacting swiftly to the Belarus incursion, the Polish military has mobilised a significant force of 10,000 personnel to the Belarus-Polish border, a clear indication of their readiness to defend their territory.

Each side could potentially launch a significant pre-emptive strike to secure the integrity of their respective nation-states and ensure they attack quickly and may be able to deliver a fast knockout blow.

However, with all the speculation stated, it is improbable that the Russian Federation and its vassal state Belarus would get involved in another European conflict while at the same time trying to conquer the nation-state of Ukraine since 2014 when Russia seized parts of eastern and southern Ukraine.
