It's why the United States supported Pakistan over India because India was more aligned with the Soviet Union/Russia

That's at least partially aligned with Americas and the Wests enemies

One of the reasons for the migrant crisis is due to the new cold war happening on the African continent and each side

The older cold war wasn't bloodless it was just the fighting was happening outside of the European and North American continents
