For me due to the format of medium I keep the articles between 300 and 2000 words and I put but a few URL links on the articles

If I was doing footnotes I would do that in a book or on the platform Substack

I am trying to make my content digestible for people's of various reasonablabilities

As for putting a long bibliography at the bottom you get paid for people's reading the article on medium

So if I put down a long bibliography at the bottom of the page I won't be getting the same engagement

Because people just and they won't be bothered about it but I do put in URL for easy resources for people to read

As for my writing I am doing this buy myself I don't have the time to write large 4,000 words essays on topics

If I got more and more followers and engagement that I could make a living from creating articles and writing books

Then I would put more time into the work or pay for a research assistant

As for the articles I am very much inspired by newsletters particularly Peter Zilhen format of writing 5 shore articles a week on

Geopolitics being between 150 and 300 words accompanied with a video lasting between 4 minutes to 15 minutes

For me I hope the readers can read and understand my writing and it's as easy as possible for people to understand
