For me the American does not understand sarcasm at least that what I get from the few face to face interactions

Their is also the feeling that the person I am taking to is very excited their is also the feeling that they are putting forward a false

Identity it almost feels like I am watching a person trying to imitate what they think a person should be

But with what I have written only really come from the 10 American people I have spoken to

I would say that in the American population's imagination America is the Golden City on top of the hill

Also the USA needs like or other nations foundational myths and a version of its own truth

They don't want to believe that they are Europeans
