France Sending Troops to Ukraine and The Future of Europe

Since March 2024, the French Republic has dispatched over 2.6 billion euros worth of military aid to Ukraine since the start of the conflict in February 2022.

France’s President Emmanuel Macron is making noises about the possibility of French soldiers being deployed to the Ukraine war.

To make this clear, French soldiers will not directly fight Russian soldiers because, within the media, they are blowing French involvement in Ukraine out of proportion.

France will not allow itself to be drawn into a confrontation with the Russian Federation in any way, shape, or form.

If that happens, it increases the possibility of a nuclear exchange between Russia and members of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation, who are also under the American strategic nuclear deterrent, which also includes France.

France’s President Emmanuel Macron

France will provide technical expertise and other assistance to Ukraine’s war effort, along with the specialist and technical side to help Ukraine fight against Russia.

What the French got out of this arrangement will be two main gains.

First, it will enable the French to become the masters of drone technology within Western Europe and secure military advantages against future enemies.
