Funny thing with the global democratic decline this century will be another American century

Unless it self destructs I don't see any American president that would let the United States dissolve into separate independent Nations

It would greatly weaken the USA and they won't be number one that had basically control of a continent

It would be like Europe a divided continent

It kind of makes me this of Western Europe after the collapse of the Western Roman Empire in 476 AD

Personally I believe social media is making everything worse and that local issue was are becoming national issues

Which in reality the issues should be dealt with by local government and the state legislator

Not the federal government

Also people different lifestyles won't understand each other and you've got a case of in groups and outer groups

Arguing and over 30 years ago they would never know about each other but with social media we're constantly getting involved
