Grand Theft Auto Vi is The World’s first Billion-dollar Game.
According to reporting by the BBC, the latest Grand Theft Auto game, which has been a franchise ongoing since 1997, the latest game GTA Vi, is slated to be released in 2025, with the game development costing at least $1 billion.
Some speculate the total cost of development and marketing for GTA Vi could be in the $2bn (£1.6bn) range.
It’d be the most expensive video game if that pans out.
The amount of money being spent on game development and marketing can be likened to the expense of the modern Marvel movie franchise.
The upcoming GTA Vi will be extraordinary and new, with the gaming experience and the design that goes into creating these immersive digital universes, which have become a proper form of entertainment and creativity.

The most expensive game ever to be developed before GTA Vi is Star Citizen, which cost $415 million plus over a hundred million dollars to market the game successfully, including audio work from the movie legend Mark Hamill, famous for his betrayal of Luke Skywalker from the Star Wars movies.
