I do think the UK could do with some of the good attitude but the stoicism and sarcasm is to engrained in the national culture

As an English man the share optimism of Americans is a bit off-booting just because of the different social norms

I watch some content of an American English teacher in Japan were the landlord keeps giving her and her partner fruit

If my land lord did that I would find it very strange but it's a different culture
