Welcome back.

We have a few elections to discuss for 2024.

These are the elections in India that took place from 19 April to 1 June.

The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party lost its majority, which has stopped India from sliding into populism and fascism and putting India’s Democracy in danger.

There is also the National African Congress (ANC) ruling party in South Africa, which had been in power for over 30 years but lost its majority of the vote, just landing over 40% of the vote, due to the mismanagement of the South African nation.

Since the end of apartheid in South Africa in 1994.

Narendra Modi

Apartheid was a racist system that treated black people differently from white people.

It kept black people separate from white people, in poorer conditions and with fewer opportunities in life.

The system ended in 1994 when black people got to vote in a new government.

One of the big take away from this election’s even with the massive issue within their nations, such as the retardation of their economies and infrastructure, all the main political parties have, except the resolution of the vote, which is something we could all learn from in the West.
