Innovation Due to War: Russia’s Turtle Tanks

It is no secret that war is the mother of invention during the Ukraine war starting in 2022 with the Russian direct invasion of Ukraine, which is an independent nation.

Currently, Ukrainians and Russians have to pioneer and develop existing technologies and new tech to overcome their respective enemy, which are one another.

The desperation and willingness to innovate by both sides can be seen in Ukraine’s development of its drone fleet, which can attack 75% of the Russian population which lives in Europe Russia and attack as far as the Russian Republic of Tatarstan.

The Russian military themselves have not been idle due to playing dress up with their tanks by creating an armoured shell around the tank so that Russian tanks can advance without being destroyed by swarms of Ukrainian drones.

Turtle

This advancement is often mocked in Western media because the technology looks very archaic, like something out of World War I, which frequently, when it comes to military technology, has highly primitive beginnings, such as the creation of the world’s first submarine by the Confederate States of America during the American Civil War from 1861 to 1865.
