Is it also that in constitutional terms the United States is very old politically in regards to it continuity

If we have to be exact the British themselves are nearly 100 years older

If you go from the glorious Revolution of 1688

Older if you count the foundations of Parliament in the 13th century or the English common law from the 12th century

American institutions are old and slow to change in South America people get photos and detailed information

On where their taxes go and only thing they need to do to by their taxes is transfer money from their bank account

It makes UK and US tax systems look ancient

It's because they key institutions where founded before modern technologies which means developing Nations

Leap frog with their development of institutions

The Japanese transformation in the late 19th and early 20th century is a striking example of this

They took inspiration from The British, Germans and French for developing their state
