Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) on March 27, 2024, attacked without provocation a French humanitarian aid facility controlled by Française de Développement.

No aid workers were killed, and the Israeli defence forces fired on the facility due to the belief that Hamas terrorists occupied the facility.

To give some context to the incident.

On October 7, 2023, the Gaza-controlled Hamas launched an unprovoked surprise attack against the state of Israel.

Since that date, both territories have been in a state of conflict with Hamas, killing over 1160 Israeli citizens.

In retaliation, the IDF has killed over 30,000 Palestinians.

Also, according to World Food Programme Deputy Director Carl Skau, 2.3 million Gazans are expected to be facing mass starvation and degradation, which has also led to an incident where Israeli Defence Forces fired upon an aid convoy.

The incident took place on 8 March 2024, in which 12,000 Palestinians gathered around an aid convoy that the IDF was guarding.

The incident went out of control due to panic among Israeli soldiers, and the Palestinians, rather than waiting for food supplies, rushed to take AID out of the convoy.
