It depends on the nation in question the Chinese are implementing anti lgbtq laws and trying to limit male and female use of contraception
Due to the decline of Chinese demographics and the impact caused by the one child policy from 1980 until it was repealed in 2016
But that not going to fix China problem but you could see other governments implementing those policies
In draconian attempts to fix the fertility crisis an increase the birth rates
What the issue is that people are not in an economic situations to start a family the boomer generation could have a first-time job
And from those salaries buy a house and start a family it what my own mother did in the 1980s
I would say there is an element of counter culture due to the sexual Revolution which kind of through the baby out with the bathwater
It was very much necessary because laws such as marital rape wasn't made illegal in the United States until 1993 and 1991 in the UK
People should have the option to choose what kind of lifestyle they want
But it's very naive for people to think that housewife just means sitting at home doing nothing
Being a fully time mom requires a lot of work and effort in educating the children, household maintenance
Been active member of the local community doing charity work and maintaining would it be a man or a woman physical health
I would say culture will need to change so that women are stigmatized instead home or if a woman earns a lot more than the husband are partner
That he would inturn be socially allowed to be a stay at home husband
But both situations only work if one of the parties earns a big enough salary to pay far the lifestyle of three or four other people
It's why trade wife's don't really work for most people
I would say couples we need to communicate what they actually want and not what society or their friend groups
Tell them what they should want you also need to have a discussion on what kind of material life style both parties would want
But that's more of option for people's who have high paying jobs who both can go part-time
And then adequate time to devote themselves to their family and to each other
People are working 35 hours or more per week and got to meet a lot of demands
