It depends on what definition you use for me the global South is pretty much anything that's not Western European or Western European in origin

As Eastern Europe recovers from communism it is in some ways becoming part of the global North

It just takes time but things are a lot better for Poland then it was in the 1990s

I would also count South Korea and Japan as being part of the global North as well
