It sounds a lot like my team leader

Telling us to have fun and how much our work is truly beneficial to the company

Last Friday I had a meeting with myself and 120 other people with management talking about the profit projections

For 2024 and it was a load of baloney because at our level we are not that important when it comes to decision-making

A lot of the culture from silicon valley is spreading too over industries where it should have been such as call centers

And other blue collar jobs and even lower level White collar jobs where you are just an employee

Also at work you're putting on a persona if it's something close to your personality it can be an okay experience if it's something totally different

To your true self then it will just make them chronically unhappy having to be there longer than they have to

And then being told how great the company is when in reality they despise the experience

Sometimes a jobs just a job and colleagues are just colleagues

You could have absolutely nothing in common

In the office i've got a woman to my left who's like here cannabis and drink and the woman in front of me

Got serious social and personal issues

Both of these people they're okay but they are not people who I want to spend my free time with

I saw your friends and that will be a good indication of your future

Indefence of my team leader I understand where he is coming from it is his job to maintain team morale

Due to the High attrition of the job also he has children since he was 14 or 15 years old so work and his kids is all he has got
