Make Felonies Great Again
On the 30th of May 2024, we all may have already heard that the 45th President of the USA, Donald Trump, has become the first President in US history to be convicted of a crime.
Trump is a FELON after being convicted on 34 counts of financial fraud related to hiding his affair with the porn star Stormy Daniels.
To be clear, Donald Trump’s crime is not sleeping with the porn star or paying her off with the money, but his crime is lying about the money in regards to his taxis.
Like Al Capone, a notorious gangster of the early 20th century, Donald Trump is caught because he has failed to pay taxes.
Donald Trump would potentially face four years of imprisonment due to his crimes.
So, the question has to be now: is Donald Trump capable of publicly spinning this news story, which could potentially lose independent Americans and Americans who don’t want a felon in the White House?
This could very well bite Donald Trump in the arse during the American November 24 presidential election.
The clear evidence and testimonials made the case pretty straightforward, but Trump’s sentencing will be on July 11, 2024.
I wouldn’t expect him to see jail time; however, the potential for probation will be dragged out, and the appeals process could significantly impact his campaign schedule.
The real question is how this affects Trump’s shot at the presidency.
It was already going to be a long shot for Trump due to Trump’s inability to win support from American independent voters; this conviction and the fallout it carries might be the kiss of death.
All Kamela Harris has to do now is keep to the political centre ground.
