Russian Opposition Leader Alexei Navalny Died in Mysterious Circumstances
Russian opposition leader, activist and campaigner Alexei Navalny died on 16 February 2023 in Siberia inside a Russian Federation prison camp.
Foul play is also a strongly expected reason that he died under unnatural circumstances.
For today’s article, I have waited to publish this piece during March just so people’s minds can cool on the subject and not be heavily influenced by the tragedy of his death and the politics and emotions which have been triggered.
I do feel sorry for Alexei Navalny, who died in an inhumane manner, but that doesn’t change the fact that Alexei is no friend to the West.
Alexie is not a Western liberal.
He is a Russian nationalist who is pro-conflict in Ukraine, which is similar to many other Russians.
Alexei was campaigning against the internal corruption of the Russian Federation government under the leadership of oligarchs and Russia’s current president, Vladimir Putin.
Alexei wanted a stronger Russian able to fulfil Russia’s geopolitical security interests, which included restoring Russia’s old Soviet Union borders. Alexei was a Democrat, but he was not a Liberal Democrat.
