Slavery is very much America's original sin which it's still hasn't come to terms with
Even the American War of independence from 1775 to 1783 was partly caused by abolitionists within the British Empire
Also there was a legal grey area within England stated that men and women couldn't be slaves it's why
Enslaved individuals from the Americas made their way to England due to that historical convention
The cost Britain's never shall be slaves and it wasn't part of the English constitution since the 13th century
For the colonies they were governed their own legislative houses and laws which did not confirm to British laws
That's why the institution of slavery was very much on its way out in the 18th century at least in regards to fight in the institution until it was Entered in the early 18th century
William Douglas the abolitionist who was enslaved fled to the United Kingdom in the 1840s or 1850s
I don't remember the precise date but abolitionists where trying to enlist the support of the British to enslavery within the USA
Also I believe the USA have not even mentioned are even recognized the plight of native Americans in their reservations
And the fact their lands was taken from them it's a topic that is never spoken about
