Social media cultivates The pursuit of image over all over pursuits

A few days ago I was taking a photo with a friend and they were unhappy that when I smile on photos I do a big smile

That kind of smile doesn't look good on camera

Because we are pursuing aesthetics we are not pursuing substance but we live in a society which pursues aesthetics

People's respond to incentives and the incentives is looking good on social media

In our days if you are working a normal 9 to 5 job or work irregular hours there's only so much you can prioritize in your time

For me it's written, reading, painting, bike rideing and doing driving lessons
