Southeast Asians Fighting for Russia in the Ukraine War
Since the start of the Ukraine war, which has been an ongoing conflict since 2014, with 2024 being the 10th year of the conflict, the Russian Federation President Vladimir Putin since the war became a total war with the Russian military directly invading the nation of Ukraine during February 2022.
In March 2022, Vladimir Putin called upon Southeast Asians as mercenaries to help bolster the catastrophic losses of the Russian military, which has been 414,860 men since the start of the invasion of Ukraine in 2022.
Vladimir Putin is getting recruits by promising them good salaries and financial support for their families at home.
These recruits are particularly from India, Sri Lanka, and Nepal and were recruited as mercenaries for the Russian regime led by Vladimir Putin.
Also, in 2022, during March, supported plans for foreign aid volunteers to join Russia in its conflict with Ukraine.
It is also suspected that Vladimir Putin is also recruiting foreign troops from Syria.
