The Russians Losing the Ability to Supply its Military by the Sea

The Ukrainian military, in response to the Russian Federation’s direct invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, has had to fight unconventionally and inadvertently change the face of modern warfare through the development of drone warfare.

The Ukrainians are successfully deploying swarms of drones to attack the Russian position throughout the Black Sea, which is disrupting the Russian Federation’s ability to resupply its soldiers in Crimea and the sea border front of the war.

If the Russians continue to be unable to destroy Ukrainian drone attacks, it will jeopardise the ability of the Russians to hold Crimea if the situation continues to deteriorate.

Russia’s continuous failure to protect its military supplies and internal industry deep within Russia itself raises eyebrows from other military analysts about Russia’s capabilities to function as an effective modern military power.

Also, it is vital to remember that Russian technical education collapsed in the mid-1980s, and Russia doesn’t have a replacement generation of home-grown engineers and other people who have studied STEM subjects.
