The UK governments know what the problem is but there's no political world to fix the problem

If housing prices starts to go down then a lot of people in retirement or entering retirement would lose their nest egg for retirement

Government knows what the problems are they just see the cure as more expensive and keep kicking the can down the road

Until eventually the problem has to be resolved

Governments by their very nature are incredibly reactionary and not productive
