This seems a lot like punishing president generations for the sins of their great great grandfathers

In law we don't punish children for the sins of their parents that only happens in places like North Korea were there are three generations are punished for one member committing a crime

Also what about the people in Africa who solde the fellow Africans to the Spanish, Arab slave traders, British and other people's who bought and sold slaves

It was not just White people who has slaves should not all be punished or have a reconciliation of the crimes committed

To people who have experienced slavery

For the USA there was the civil rights movement of the 1950s sixties and 70s

And the war to end slavery in the 1860s

I do believe present inequalities and racism should be face and resolved but I don't see what good will come of it

If people's of present times are being punished for the sins of their ancestors if that is the case then we are all guilty
