Ukraine and Russian Drone Battles Over the Skies of Ukraine

The latest bloodletting during the Ukraine War, which has been ongoing since 2014 for the Ukrainian people and since 2022 for the International political community, with the Russian second invasion of Ukraine on the 24th of February 2022.

In the recent combat happening in Ukraine, both states have been mass-producing drones to target critical infrastructure in both of their respective nations, with the Russians desperately targeting civilians in Ukraine, focusing on Russian infrastructure.

For the Ukrainian power cuts due to Russian bombing and drone attacks in Kyiv, Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk, Ukrainian energy provider DTEK has put off a statement that the Ukrainian air force reported shooting down 39 of 74 drones launched by Russia overnight during 10,11,2024.

What is more worrying for the Ukraine War effort is that they are running out of time.

With Trump entering the White House in January 2025 with his election win in November 2024, they face the possibility of fighting Russia without material support against the Russian juggernaut coming for them.
