Ukraine War Update for April 2: Ukrainian Drones Reached Tatarstan
On 2 April 2024, the Ukrainian military, in their war effort against the Russian Federation, successfully have been able to penetrate with the use of drone technology the Republic of Tatarstan, which is a state controlled by the Russian Federation.
Ukraine drone strikes successfully penetrated 800 miles from the main fighting which is taking place in Ukraine.
The Ukrainian military is able to penetrate that deep into Russia, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has pledged that Ukraine will be producing 1 million drones by the end of 2024.
This puts 75% of the Russian population, which lives predominantly in western Russia, under threat from the Ukrainian military drones.
The Ukrainian military strike successfully damaged an oil refinery within Tatarstan, which is part of the Ukrainian war aimed at critically damaging Russian infrastructure, particularly its transportation network and oil refineries.
Also, according to news reports, at least 13 people have been killed by the Ukrainian drones in Tatarstan.
