The Data for eating out in the USA.

· In the USA more than 50% of American adults eat out three or more times a week and over 35% eat fast-food meals more than twice a week.

· In the USA, you can expect to spend, on average, £14.15 ($18.40) for a meal, slightly less than the average £14.25 ($18.53) in the UK.

· The statistics are even lower if you choose fast food as an option for your lunch meal, with the UK averaging £7.25 ($9.43) and the USA coming in at £8.08 ($10.50).

· In the UK, more than 27.1% of adults eat meals in full-service or fast-food restaurants once or more, and 21.1% consume takeaway meals at home once or more.
