When Donald Trump wanted to buy Greenland what he was doing wasn't silly it did happen in the 19th century

United States bought Alaska from Russia

I suppose their may have needed to have been elections but there's nothing preventing the acquisition of territory

By paying for it

I do understand they are historical and cultural hiccups that would cause issues

Their is also the Mexican drug cartels coming into southern America and that Mexico is in danger of becoming a fail state

Which would drag the USA into the issue
