Why is it Safe to Have Sex When Pregnant
The most common belief when it comes to sex when pregnant is that having penetrative sex with the phallus will harm the baby or that the baby will be aware that its parents are engaged in acts of intimacy and self-pleasure of one another’s genitalia.
It is a total myth that people engaging in sexual activity during pregnancy would harm the baby.
The baby is contained within an amniotic sack of fluid, which protects it from the outside world when it is within the mother.
Also, it is not biologically possible for a man’s phallus to reach the baby when having penetrative sex with a woman.
It is just pure fantasy and worry without justifiable reason.
But with that being stated, if a man and woman engage in acts of sexual intimacy when pregnant, it is essential that both parties are not as vigorous and that it is better to have a more sedate pace.
When having sex, it may be better to take small breaks in between the acts of sexual intimacy, have the woman on all fours or have the pregnant woman be on top of the man where she could have more control over the pace of the sexual activity.
