Why It’s Hard to Find Love as You Get Older
As we age, it becomes harder to find love and companionship throughout our lives.
As we gain new experiences, we start to know where we want to go on holiday and what we want to do in our spare time, and we become less flexible.
As we age, we understand how little time we have left or how limited our time is due to work commitments.
This is because if you work 35 hours a week or more, you will not be watching a television series you are not interested in.
One of the impediments to finding love as you get older with another person is that you already know your preferences, and the other person, particularly if they are of the same age, is not very likely to change for you.
Finding love when you are young is often easier because neither of you knows where you want to go on holiday or what you want.
As you both age and get new experiences, you are moulded not just by those experiences but by one another.
There is a lot of truth regarding relationships, especially if you are both in your most formative years, which tends to be in your 20s, if not your early 20s, where you can shape one another into the person you want to be with.
Furthermore, the older you get, the more likely the person you are dating will have baggage.
