Why Nobody Cares about Independent Voters
For today’s article, I will be discussing independent voters.
Independent voters in the United States of America are not members of the Republican or Democratic parties, the two main government parties in the country since at least the 1860s.
Independent voters within the United States of America tend to flip their vote from Democrats to Republicans, and no American president wins an election or re-election without the support of independent America.
According to geopolitical analyst Peter Zilhen, independent voters tend to experience buyer’s remorse when electing a President.
That’s why American presidents tend to lose control of Congress halfway through their term in power.
This means American presidents occupy the position of commander-in-chief and can act independently regarding foreign policy.
They cannot pass legislation and new laws through Congress due to those being occupied by opposition parties.
Also, the breakdown of bipartisanship within the American legislature, Congress, means that bills and cooperation are no longer available through the American parliament.
